Angles on Art & Framing

This fall is going to be a busy time raising money for charities, whether it is a school connected fundraiser or a national charity. Art is always a great fundraising tool. You can auction off art already framed or you can get creative. If you are raising money for a school, why not have the students do art projects and organize a fundraiser to auction them off? Here in Winter Park a local school does this on an annual basis. If it is for a charity, why not get in touch with the local chapter and find out if there are any volunteers or beneficiaries of the charity who can paint or are crafty? People will tend to donate to causes they believe in especially when they walk away with a momento from the event.
The Snookfoundation.org representative in Casselberry often gets art donated and look for good deals to frame it. If you have a high end event, then consider having a custom framer enhance the artwork with a beautiful framing, matting and glass package. After all, people take their art with them when they move, much like they take their furnishings with them also. Don't overlook art and framing for your next fundraiser.
